The Graham James effect: Pt. 2

The effect...affects all...

Today was the day he wanted to tell
but if he did, 'his life would be hell'

He goes out on the ice, he plays his game, he knows if he tells nothing will ever be the same.

He copes, he deals with it as best as he can.
he continues to punish himself, he must be to blame

He hopes, he dreams, one day the punishment will go to the man...
He who committed the crime: he should live with the shame!

A brave soul can't take it anymore, he knows there are others, there has to be...
he says to himself -"it can't just be me..."

All they ever did was love the sport- now it's time now to come forward and provide support-

Together they hope, they dream, that the punishment will go to the man-
"Justice will be served"- they shout together as loud as they can...

Now the blame and the shame will go to THAT man...

Of course he will be punished-
he had even admitted: to the unacceptable crimes he committed-

He ruined lives, butthese boys now men- finally had the courage to speak... so that others can...

Justice and punishment against the accused: was nothing compared to the way they were used-
will others speak up... how they too, were abused?

Not when justice fails- it may not be worth it
Keep quiet- say nothing, is it worth the fight?

Yes, it is...because none of it is right!...if we keep quiet they will think its alright...

Justice is wrong, they are to blame, the injustice... oh... HOW they should now live with the shame

It's their turn now-

YOU did your part...
you protected others... and you know in your heart what you did was right,

they are wrong...
Keep fighting the fight...

We need to be the voices for those who aren't strong-
...so that one day they will be... and their shame too, shall be gone.
